Hoping this post finds everyone happy and well. There has been a lot more engagement on this site lately, and I am looking forward to future growth on this platform. With God’s help, my only goal with this site is that it will help just one person who is seeking the Lord. Please help me achieve this goal by getting the word out, sharing and posting what seems relevant to you. If you see anything in error or have suggestions for the site, please contact me directly and I will look into your concerns. Best wishes, and God bless each and everyone of you. Shawn Price

I've been thinking a lot about the disunity among Christians world wide, and even the division found from one street to another. In almost every facet of worldly living people find it within themselves to group together in a common cause. Yet among Christians it is far too common for us to disagree and denounce one-another as not truly being a Christian, or lost, or "going to hell". Why is that? Perhaps one could argue that this truly is the case. And maybe it is; but I think not. Who is the final arbiter of judgement? Is it not God Himself? Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. In other words, seek God in faith and truth. This is a directive for us as individuals, not for us to judge others. We can all unify in our faith in the Lord and for the cause of Christ. There may be false teachings, and those should be addressed. There may be bad Christians, but that does not mean that they are not Christians. Consider a poor manager of a company who's employees and coworkers detest. The employees and coworkers may think this poor manager acts in ways contrary to the company's policies, but they are in no position to denounce him or his authority. That role belongs to a higher authority in the company. Regardless of how other employees feel, all they can acknowledge is that he is a bad manager, but they can work together to help this manager improve and overcome his deficiencies. This is how we, as Christians, should work among each-other. We can, and should, build each-another up and sharpen our knowledge and spiritual awareness. But there is no cause for us to denounce each-other unless there is no faith in Christ. Let us strive to be of one mind, being patient and loving toward each-other. I hope this finds everyone well and of good cheer. God bless each and every one of you. Shawn

Many times I forget to pray about interactions, problems, actions, encounters, or endeavors. And it’s when I forget and take things upon myself that I stumble the most, encountering more temptation and failure than otherwise. Today I remembered to pray upon an important phone call, and most thankful that I did. It could have easily escalated out of control, but God held me steady and helped me control myself. Prayer about work and home life is important to God, I’m sure of it. Just as He knows the number of the hairs on our heads, I’m sure he knows the struggles of our day. I’m reminded of Colossians and the instructions for Masters to bondservants, and to continue steadfast in prayer. Because otherwise we can get ourselves into heaps of trouble and fall victim to our own evil nature and stray from The Way. Colossians 4:1–2 (ESV): Masters, treat your bondservants justly and fairly, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven. 2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.

In Messages of faith
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there buy waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by the craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow ip in all aspects into him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.
